Every Step of the way

We have you covered

Our Services

Cetlla provides a range of consulting and engineering services as early as the project initiation phase all throughout the project closure phase.

Initiation

outlines Cetlla's specialized consulting services for heavy lift and heavy haul projects, encompassing various studies like constructability, modularization, route analysis, and lifting plans, all aimed at optimizing project execution, safety, schedule, and budget.

Planning

includes HL/HH management, rigging plans, permit coordination, critical lift packages, ITB/RFQ development, technical/commercial reviews, auxiliary equipment design, and turnaround preparation for efficient project delivery.

Execution

CETLLA provides HL/HH management, conducts safety audits, deploys HL/HH SMEs/field reps, performs technical reviews, and offers comprehensive turnaround support.

Closure

CETLLA ensures the delivery of final project documentation for future reference and conducts a comprehensive project review for continuous improvement.

How

How to choose which risks to manage in a project?

Consider the likelihood of a risk and its potential effect on your project. If the potential effect of a risk is great and if the chances it will occur are high, you probably want to develop plans to manage that risk. Unfortunately, heavy lift accidents are still occurring frequently. From 2011 to 2017, the Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries (CFOI) reported 297 total crane-related deaths, an average of 42 per year over this 7-year period.

Cetlla’s approach is focused on Risk Management in the field of Heavy Lift Heavy Haul (HL/HH) and concentrates on the following areas:

01

Safety, Health, Environment & Quality

We are dedicated to managing risks in the interconnected areas of safety, health, environment, and quality.

02

Scheduling

We extend our risk management expertise to scheduling, proactively identifying potential delays and disruptions to ensure project timelines remain on track

03

Budget

We manage budget risks by thoroughly analyzing potential cost overruns and financial uncertainties throughout a project’s lifecycle, developing proactive mitigation strategies and contingency plans to maintain cost control.

Why

Why is Risk Management in the field of Heavy Lift Heavy Haul Significant?

Early Decision, Major Impact

Transportability and associated variables impact project strategy, selection of fabricators, budget and schedule.

Large Construction Equipment

Such as heavy lift cranes and specialized trailers, may result in severe accidents or substantial change orders, if not properly managed.

Consequential Damages are Expensive

Imagine crucial process equipment requiring repair or arriving late to site? Not only will it impact project expenses, but also loss of income.

Multiple Contractors

A scheduling delay affects other contractors, such as the General Contractor, Civil Contractor, Electrical.

Environmental Impact

Due to the significant size of heavy lift cranes, specialized trailers, and loads, any accident may have significant environmental impact.

Management

Understanding and managing the risk associated with heavy lift and heavy haul is frequently undervalued. Many variables and different entities play a crucial role in realizing a successful heavy lift or heavy haul activity. Managing risk requires understanding what to look for and what measurements can be taken to minimize or eliminate the risk.
